CASE 1. Mr. LYC (lung cancer)
Mr. LYC is a 52-year-old businessman who had developed lung cancer 2 years earlier. He had undergone chemotherapy and surgery. However, as the cancer recurred within 12 months, he abandoned conventional treatment and sought an experimental immunotherapy and metabolic therapy in Japan. After 9 months of treatment, he had residual disease in the lower lobe.
When he came to the Healing Zone (ICCM) he was very weak and had a persistent and severe cough with hemoptysis (with blood).
He was prescribed several courses of high dose vitamin C, Vit B17 and nutritional optimization. Within 2 weeks, his hemoptysis was resolved, and he was able to regain robust health over the next 4 weeks.
A PET CT scan following 4 months of healing - based therapies showed a small residual focus of active disease in the left lower lobe of the lung. An endoscopic surgery was carried out and a lower lobectomy (removal of the lower lobe of the lung) was performed.
More than 6 years after this he remains free from lung cancer.

CASE 2 – Mr. NCS (Seminoma of the testes)
This young man presented with a large tumor of the right testes and underwent a orchidectomy (removal of the affected testes).
The Histology report confirmed a seminoma of the testes and markedly elevated tumor markers (HCG, alpha-FP). He was advised adjuvant chemotherapy for 6 cycles. He declined and opted to treat his cancer with a nutritional and metabolic approach with a combination of HDIVC, B17 and nutritional rebalancing.
His cancer markers normalized after one month of treatment. He remained well until 1 year later and showed rising tumor markets. This time he agreed to undergo chemotherapy. After 1 dose of chemo (BEP regime with concomitant use of HDIVC the cancer markers normalized. Due to the severe chemo side – effects he refused further chemotherapy and preferred to continue treatment using a nutritional and metabolic approach.
After 4 years since initial diagnosis, he remains cancer free and has since graduated with an engineering degree.
Discussion
This young man had the benefit of surgery and integrative approach initially and upon a recurrence, had a limited use of chemotherapy. The value of repeated chemo once the cancer is in remission needs to be questioned. He had the benefit of chemotherapy without the harmful effects of long chemo drugs.

CASE 3 – Mr. M (Rhabdomyosarcoma of the prostate gland)
This very unfortunate young man suffered a very rare and malignant cancer of the prostate gland.
In 2018 he had a biopsy confirmed rhabdomyosarcoma.
As the cancer was very advanced with metastasis to the lungs, liver and bones, he underwent 3 cycles of chemotherapy to which he had shown good response. Following this a radical prostatectomy and removal of the urinary bladder was performed. This has resulted in him having a permanent ileostomy (urine diversion with a urine bag). He then underwent a further 3 doses of chemotherapy to complete the planned 6 doses.
Unfortunately, upon completion of the chemo, he still had residual disease in the pelvis, liver and lungs.
At this juncture a course of radiotherapy was instituted. Unfortunately, even this was unable to control the cancer and this young man who already lost his prostate and bladder was staring at a very bleak prognosis.
He presented to the Healing Zone (ICCM) in a desperate state, having exhausted almost all of his conventional options. This being a rare cancer, we had no experience in treating and this was made abundantly clear to Mr. M and his family. They were prepared to give metabolic therapy with a selection of natural anti–cancer therapies a chance.
Fortunately for him, his cancer responded very well to this line of treatment, and he has been in remission since 2019 and successfully completed his undergraduate studies.
